To shoot this video we programmed in openframeworks a series of masks based on the face tracking code developed by Zach Lieberman and Daito Manabe usingthe FaceTracker library by Jason Saragih. No post-production effects were used, everything you see here was recorded live, using a hacked Kinect, a laptop, a projector and a DSLR camera.
Some of the masks respond to movement and others respond to sound creating an expressive outcome.
